RACING FOR A CAUSE
Joey Cushman was an Arlington Police Officer who was killed in a training exercise on June 7, 2001. The Arlington Police Department has chosen to honor his memory and continue his legacy of service to the Special Olympics Texas athletes. Our hope is to keep his support visible and show his family that his spirit lives on in our hearts.
The USATF Certified 5K and Fun Run will take place on November 3 at River Legacy Park in Arlington. Participants may choose between a 5K Timed, 5K Not Timed, or a one-mile Family Fun Run.
Online registration will close on October 29, 2012. (Purchase race entry.) Mailed entry forms should be postmarked by October 29, 2012.
All runners will receive a long-sleeve, 100% cotton t-shirt with entry.

We will recognize the top three masters male/female, the top three overall male/female and the top three fi nishers male/female in the following age groups:
9 and under
10 – 14
15 – 19
5 year age groups from 20 to 70+
